The Gateway Devices Assignment configuration page displays the list of ONS devices on the EX platform under Device Type, and their Physical Location Identifier (PLID) under PLID. You can assign directory numbers to each device type using this configuration page.
NOTE: This configuration is only applicable for EX platform.
To assign the directory number:
Select Configure Gateway Devices Assignment check box.
Under DN, type a directory number for the ONS device.
Click Next to continue.
NOTE: The DN entered for each PLID should be unique.
